House GOP to hold hearing on Pennsylvania’s tourism potential

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), Rep. Jeff Olsommer (R-Pike/Wayne), and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled “Passport to Prosperity: Unleashing Pennsylvania’s Tourism Potential” to discuss the obstacles and opportunities facing Pennsylvania’s tourism industry.

Kail, Olsommer, members of the committee, and testifiers Bradley Kiesendahl, president and CEO of Woodloch Resort; Ronald R. Schmalzle, vice chair of Pike County commissioners; and Genevieve Reese, first vice chair of Pocono Mountain Visitor Bureau will be present at the hearing.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Woodloch Resort, located at 731 Welcome Lake Road, Hawley, PA 18428. Barring any technical difficulties, the hearing will be streamed online.
