Rep. Jonathan Fritz has been appointed as a deputy whip for the 2025-26 Legislative Session by House Republican Whip Tim O’Neal. This marks Fritz’s third time serving in this capacity.

“I am honored to be chosen to serve, for a third time, as a House deputy whip,” Fritz stated. He emphasized the importance of information dissemination among colleagues due to the fast-paced nature of policy and legislative developments. “This is an important role, and I embrace the responsibility that comes with the assignment,” he added.

Fritz will also assume leadership as chairman for the Northeast Regional Delegation, guiding fellow Republican members. “Harrisburg is a place that requires collaboration, and I am thankful that my delegation-mates entrust me to lead as their chairman,” Fritz commented. He highlighted the significance of collective efforts in achieving regional benefits and ensuring attention and resources are allocated fairly across Pennsylvania’s diverse areas.

The Northeast Regional Delegation includes parts or all of Bradford, Columbia, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
