Olsommer announces district assistance availability at local senior centers

State Representative Jeff Olsommer (R-Wayne/Pike) announced today that staff from his district office will be available at several senior centers to assist individuals with various services.

Starting June 14, and continuing every second Friday of the month, assistance will be provided at:
– Matamoras Senior Center (located at Matamoras Fire Hall), Avenue Q and Sixth Street, Matamoras, from 9 a.m. to Noon.
– Dingman Township Municipal Building, 118 Fisher Lane, Milford, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Beginning July 24, and on every fourth Wednesday of the month thereafter:
– Hamlin Senior Center, 15 Township Road, Hamlin, from 9 a.m. to Noon.

Staff will offer help with PennDOT paperwork, Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications, unclaimed property recovery, unemployment compensation claims, PACE/PACENET applications, and handicapped plates and placards.

Residents of the 139th District are also invited to visit Olsommer’s office at 2523 Route 6, Suite 2 in Hawley for assistance with any state-related matters. Additional information can be found on his website or social media pages.

The 139th Legislative District includes parts of Pike and Wayne counties. The townships covered are Blooming Grove, Dingman, Greene, Lackawaxen, Milford (Pike), Palmyra (Pike), Shohola, Westfall; Cherry Ridge, Dreher, Lake Lehigh Paupack Palmyra (Wayne), Salem South Canaan Sterling; and the boroughs of Matamoras Milford Hawley.
