On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Wallenpaupack Area High School standout TJ Schmalzle’s current college team, the Fairfield Stags, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Richmond Spiders.

The game took place at Malcolm U. Pitt Field. This was their second matchup against the Spiders this season.

The Stags’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against James Madison Dukes.
