BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP: COVID-19 Press Release - Buckingham Township Local Updates May 29, 2020

Buckingham Township issued the following announcement on May 29.

Bucks County will transition to the YELLOW phase on June 5th. Until that time, we remain under the RED phase and the Governor’s Stay-at-Home order is in effect.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP

-       Township offices remain closed to the public through June 4th. After that date will reopen by appointment only.

-       ALL essential services such as the Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and the Water and Wastewater Department continue normal operations.

-       County polling places, including the two in the Township Building, will be deep cleaned before the Primary Election Day of June 2nd.

-       The Buckingham Lower #2 polling place typically at Buckingham Springs has been moved to Central Bucks East High School at 2804 Holicong Road.

-       Township playgrounds and park pavilions will open on June 5th with the expiration of the Governor’s Stay-at-Home order. When using the parks, we recommend you keep in mind the CDC guidelines.  Restrooms will remain closed. Trails are open.

-       “Buckingham Beautiful Days” will continue as scheduled on June 6th & 7th. Residents are asked to wear masks during the event.

-       The Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for June 19thth at the Township Building.

-       Correspondence, permit applications, and water payments may be mailed OR placed into new mailbox located outside the Administrative Offices at the front walk. NO CASH payments please.

-       The Township Website www.buckinghampa.org is updated periodically with press releases and information on Township operations and services.

-       Bucks County COVID-19 stats and information can be found at https://covid19-bucksgis.hub.arcgis.com/

-       The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention page https://www.cdc.gov/ has the largest and most up-to-date information on the prevention and effects of COVID-19.
