Delaware River Club Fly Fishing Resort issued the following announcement.
We had some heavy thunderstorms pass through last night and all of the river flows are up this morning.
The West Branch at Hale Eddy is already dropping is is at 1,080 cfs. Stilesville is only flowing at 461 cfs so the river is fine above Oquaga Creek.
The last two days of cloud and rain have pushed the olives and we’re finding quite a few on the buildings every morning.
Today looks good for streamers but keep and eye on the foam lines and tailouts for rising fish.
The lower West has 6 – 8″ of visibility and should clear more throughout the day.
Good looking for streamers but it is clear enough for fish to eat in the slow water. We got lucky with this storm.
Today’s weather sounds pretty good with the air temp hitting 78 degrees, wind 5 – 10 mph from the North, and cloud cover.
We may see a bit of rain overnight totally 1/4″.
