Wallenpaupack Area High School issued the following announcement.

Dear WASD Families:

The following information pertains to those who have chosen the Wallenpaupack LIVE (Learning In a Virtual Environment) option and attend the:

Wallenpaupack North Primary School

Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School

Wallenpaupack Area Middle School

Wallenpaupack Area High School

We invite all parents of students who plan to utilize Wallenpaupack LIVE for instruction during the first quarter of the 2020-2021 school year to the North campus on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to receive their school-owned iPad for academic use. This invitation is ONLY for the parents of Wallenpaupack LIVE students who have not already received an iPad in a previous distribution. Students attending school in-person for the first quarter of the 2020-2021 school year will be issued their school-owned iPad once the school year begins.

Middle School	6-8	Friday, September 4	Distribution to begin at 10:30 a.m.
High School	9-12	Friday, September 4	Distribution to begin at 11:15 a.m.

When you arrive on campus, please stay in your vehicle and follow the directions of our staff who will be directing traffic. When you arrive at the end of Atlantic Avenue, you will turn right and be directed into the North Intermediate/Middle School bus lanes. A staff member will ask for your child’s name and grade, and you will then be directed to pull into one of two lanes that will form in front of the canopy area at the Middle School. Upon arrival, a staff member will assist you in receiving an iPad for your child.

All students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or they will not receive an iPad. Students and parents/guardians will have to sign documentation in order to receive a device. iPads are for school use only and will be monitored closely. Detailed information related to iPad use for virtual learning will be provided during iPad distribution and will also be made available online. More information will follow.
