DELAWARE RIVER CLUB FLY FISHING RESORT: Delaware River Report / Conditions Sept. 15, 2020

Ballpen

Delaware River Club Fly Fishing Resort issued the following announcement.

It feels great out there this morning at 39 degrees.  We’ll warm up to 68 with sunshine this afternoon.  The wind will be much lower today between 4 – 6 mph from the West.  Despite the wind yesterday people found some fish eating small olives in the broken water.  Definitely a good sign for Fall.  Caddis are picking up too.  The water temps throughout the system are starting off a few degrees cooler this morning putting all of the rivers in good shape.

We’re beginning to see a bit of cloudiness in the West Branch from the release.  It’s slight right now and doesn’t bother the fish.  It happens every Fall when the reservoir begins to turn over.
