North Pocono School District issued the following announcement.
Mock Trial is an academic competition in which high school students act as lawyers and witnesses in simulated civil and criminal trials before an actual judge and a jury comprised of volunteer attorneys. Teams receive a fictitious case in the first week of November, then prepare both sides (prosecution/plaintiff and defense/defendant) through January for district competition in the beginning of February.
Mock Trial is an opportunity for students interested in the law and/or justice system who are highly motivated and are independent hard working individuals.
Any high school student interested in joining the Mock Trial Team, please fill out the attached Google Form.
