North Pocono School District issued the following announcement.
Congratulations to Lilly Perez, a 3rd grade student in Mrs. Bozym's class, whose winning entry in last year's Lackawanna/Susquehanna Office of Drug and Alcohol Calendar Contest for the month of November is now on a billboard that can be seen on Hamlin Rt 590 @Kwik Joe Mart/Exxon facing west.
Lilly created this work of art and submitted it as a second grade student in Mrs. Sheehan's art class at Jefferson Elementary.
This important message is one that we hope many people will read and be impacted by before the holiday season.
Way to go, Lilly! You make us NP proud!
