North Pocono School District issued the following announcement.
Jefferson Elementary recently partnered with Jefferson Township supervisors and residents to ensure that students in need have winter coats, hats and gloves.
Residents who took part in the township holiday drive-thru event had the opportunity to volunteer to purchase needed items and township volunteers organized, bagged and delivered the ensembles to Jefferson Elementary for distribution.
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously of their time, talent, and treasure to make this a warm winter for our neighbors and friends!
