In Wayne County 120 inmates were incarcerated in the fourth quarter of 2022, a 1.6 percent decrease from the quarter before, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Azaiah Tahir Williams, a 23-year-old, was the youngest inmate in Wayne County in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Nelson Arthur Corey was the oldest at 71-years-old.

Incarceration rates in Pennsylvania have increased dramatically, imprisoning more than seven times the number of people in 2019 than in 1970.
