FOIA Request to Wayne County Election Department Regarding Pre-Election Voting Machine Test Reports on October 30, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at North Pocono News have submitted a request for records under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, 65 §66.1 et seq. The request was sent to the Wayne County Election Department and pertains specifically to pre-election voting machine test reports.
We are seeking these records in an electronic format, preferably as PDF files. The specific fields we have requested include the test date, machine manufacture, machine model number, and machine status (pass or fail).
As a media organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to such records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
