Rep. Jonathan Fritz has been sworn in for his fifth consecutive term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 111th Legislative District. The district covers all of Susquehanna County and parts of Wayne County.

"Serving the hard-working citizens of Wayne and Susquehanna counties is an incredible honor. I appreciate the trust that the voters continue to place in me," Fritz expressed upon taking office. He emphasized his commitment to safeguarding the rural lifestyle and addressing challenges while fostering economic growth and development.

Fritz will continue his role as a House deputy whip, which he has held for three terms. "The legislative process, at times, moves at a very fast pace and there's often abrupt developments. Dissemination of information to colleagues is critical. This is an important role, and I appreciate the trust that comes with the appointment," he stated.

The district includes various townships such as Berlin, Buckingham, Canaan, Clinton, Damascus, Dyberry, Lebanon, Manchester, Mount Pleasant, Oregon, Preston, Scott and Texas; as well as boroughs including Bethany, Honesdale, Prompton, Starrucca and Waymart.
