On Friday, Feb. 14, former Wallenpaupack Area High School standout TJ Schmalzle’s current college team, the Fairfield Stags, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.

The game took place at Swanson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Coast Eagles this season.

The Stags’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Swanson Stadium against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
