Borough of Matamoras issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
On Tuesday, September 28th Matamoras EMA is planning on performing maintenance on the 3 solar powered Emergency Notification sirens within the borough. This maintenance may require periodic sounding of the sirens. Once the date of maintenance is confirmed, we will update our post. Please let your friends and neighbors in Matamoras know that this will only be for maintenance, and there is no cause for concern. Thank you!
