Please join the staff of Wayne County Children and Youth Services as we celebrate the opening of The Hand House, a historic Victorian home located in downtown Honesdale. Named in honor of its first proprietor, Ezra Hand and four-generations of his family who owned the property and estate from 1839-1911, The Hand House will provide a home-like setting for children, youth and families to receive visitation, parenting and independent living services. We are excited for the opportunity to enhance these services which will support our Agency’s mission to promote safer children, successful youth, stronger parents, sound families, and supportive communities.
